Venerable Adhimutta is from New Zealand. She was first ordained in Thailand as a Mae Chee in 2005 at Wat Ram Poeng with Ajahn Suphan, subsequently going forth as a Samaneri at Santi Forest Monastery in 2008. In 2010, she was ordained as a Bhikkhuni at Aranya Bodhi in 2010, with Ayya Tathaaloka Theri as Pavatini. She is currently based in Asia to further develop her meditation practice and studies.
Venerable Adhimutta who graduated in the field of Information Technology, is involved with Sakyadhita International and Buddhistdoor.com in a project creating a multimedia database name ‘Awakening Women: An Online Multimedia Resource for the Global Buddhist Community’.
